Teenagers Cycle from London to Brighton Beach for GIFT

07/07/20Teenagers Cycle from London to Brighton Beach for GIFT

16 riders cycled 110km this week from Hendon to Brighton. The ride was instigated by a group of 16 year old boys who were looking for something to do with their time due to their GCSEs being cancelled.   Some adult riders decided to join in for the good cause too. The bike ride to Brighton has so far raised over £15,000.

Gavriel Sacks, 16, who organised the route as well as many other aspects of the bike ride, said:

“GIFT’s hard work and dedication through these months has inspired me, and should inspire everyone. They inspired me to do something positive with my endless free time, and they inspired me to give back.”

GIFT’s Shira Joseph said

“These boys worked really hard in the run up to the ride and on the day itself.  They decided to do something positive with their free time despite the Covid restrictions and the result was incredible. We are all really proud of them!”
