This week saw GIFT continue with their new ‘GIFT in the City’ programme as Senior Educator, Rabbi Zeidman kicked off the year at Clifford Chance in Canary Wharf with a well-attended lunch and learn. The topic, Givers vs Takers is part of an in-depth series of sessions run by GIFT’s education team which delves into the 2 differing paradigms one can live with; rights or obligations. Jamie Belnikoff who attended, remarked ‘Rabbi Zeidman’s session was inspirational and thought provoking.’

GIFT educates in over 100 venues across London, Manchester and Jerusalem and across all age ranges. GIFT’s mission; to inspire giving through dynamic education and impactful volunteering reaches out to the whole community. Rabbi Sandor Milun, GIFT’s Managing Director commented ‘I’m extremely grateful to Clifford Chance for hosting our new GIFT in the CITY programme. Our educators pride themselves in delivering creative, thoughtful and out-of-the-box sessions.

As well as lunch and learns, GIFT can also work with city firms to deliver CSR opportunities where city workers can volunteer to pack food and distribute it to the homeless, give their time as tutors or give financial guidance to some of our 250 households receiving weekly food and practical support.
